Responsibilities

  • Build responsive user interfaces in React
  • Develop server-side features and REST APIs
  • Design and query databases (SQL and NoSQL)
  • Write tests and fix bugs reported by users and QA
  • Take part in code reviews, stand-ups and sprint planning
  • Help deploy and monitor applications in the cloud

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with React or another modern frontend framework
  • Basic understanding of a backend stack such as Node.js or Python
  • Comfortable with Git and GitHub
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field

Nice to have

  • Projects on GitHub or a live portfolio
  • Experience with SQL databases or MongoDB
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Cloudflare
  • Understanding of REST API design
